Speaking of seatbelts, I seem to recall Jethro buying an airline in one episode? With ropes for seatbelts? But it was in black and white so maybe I'm mistaken ...

Us Fairfield Primary kids used to sing a filthy version of the Beverly Hillbillies theme tune. Can't remember much except the line "pants down ready for a fuck". Maybe one of your readers can help?

I was more partial to M*A*S*H than the Beverly Hillbillies, TBH. There's a few parallels to be joined there, come to think of it... Frank Burns comes to mind.
