My word, that kokako sure does love its greens! Must be a female - males of all species regard greens as some sort of nasty....with the exception of my brother, who grows all sorts of greens and loves eating them.

When I lived in the US in the 90s there was a strong thread of belief among the swivel-eyed that black helicopters full of Mongolian troops were about to invade and establish World Government New Order. Detailed dates were promulgated, revised then I assume quietly forgotten about. Apparently, cognitive dissonance is such that believers keep the faith even when that which is prophesied doesn't come to pass. One of the mysterious quirks of human psychology I guess.
.... Wikipedia be damned! There's still no egg in Croque Monsieur .... sourdough or crusty white, butter, Dijon mustard, Gruyère, smoked ham, béchamel sauce (milk, cream, garlic, bay leaves, onion, butter, flour, more Dijon, nutmeg), and mustard mayo (even more Dijon, mayonnaise) 😋
