Wonderful! The line about Russell pulling Greta's pigtails catapulted me back at least six decades and now Ms Barry's voice is that of Joyce Grenfell: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMoSdjAjCrg
IAM at 1PM - I see what you did there! (There was a cartoon in an Australian newspaper after Muldoon gifted the McCahon to our cobbers - a fellow looking at the huge work was saying "Good heavens, is that the time?".
Ms Barry is a child abusing traitor. Lock her up! Lock her up! "Vrmm!.......Vrmm Vrmm Vrmm!" goes the angry double-cab ute as it donuts deep furrows in the top field and fells the eastern goalposts. That'll show 'em how much we by our example love (use as pawns).......our kids (whom we own).
Love this! Unfortunately my complete lack of art skill relegates me to the tracing and colouring-in table with Judith & Nicola... I'll just have to bore them with my conversation about bikes!
All of us can enjoy doing art whether or not we're "good" at it. It seems like one of those things that all children love to do and at some point we become too self conscious to just enjoy it for what it is. Also singing!
Poor Chippy, 'oh Barry, lucky me, twice in one week'. Lordy, the patience and composure they show in the face of the venal hunt for clickbaitable quotes and mindless oppositionism.

Oh how I love Joyce Grenfell. I loved her as a child and adore her still. A genius, i think.
god that's such a Russell move, isn't it?

Very good!
why don't you sit back down Judith, indeed!
Apparently this is a common theme but in sticking with it - this is brilliant!

(This is a bit of a bugbear of mine!)
Oh dear, I can't sing either! Was told "we don't want you" when auditioning for the school choir at the age of 5...

Brilliant. I'm getting a mince pie and cream doughnut from the canteen for lunch today.
Well this was brilliant. One of your best.... so funny too.
Yes. That will do quite nicely! Art is cool 🙂
