I'm afraid it's far too late to "reverse the harm" of climate change. The best we can hope for is to limit the damage. Given that the worst case is probably apocalyptic, this is a worthy goal. It's a bit like cutting down a pristine native forest. You can put the trees back - eventually - but it will never be the same.
FJK looked half cut during his tv appearance. It's good to see him spouting his rubbish now and then. It reminds me of how lucky we are that he's gone, apart from the malign influence he still exerts with his directorships.
I spoke to a friend at the gym after a spin class who is very opinionated as a matter of course (but we love her in spite of it), who had to return from Brisbane very suddenly from a visit to her daughter when the shutdown happened. She was very pissed off that it was such a small window and that she and her husband almost missed it when his test results hadn't come through by check-in. Surprisingly, the other ladies who had stopped to chat disagreed with her, as did I, and the large, well-built stranger who made a point to add his opinion to the conversation was very pointed in his opinion of her view, all of us saying 'you know the risks'. It quieted her down, but didn't change her indignation. I refrained from using the 'K' word at risk of damaging our friendship. :D
