Semiotics. I almost got to the end of the following sentence before my subconscious interjected an error message that my eyes had not seen 'semantics.' In my early dotage, I have gone back to university to ressurect and grow my knowledge of French. I looked up semiotics. The French have it too....only it's sémiologie. ..or sémiotique. And I fully intend to use one of those in the last test for the semester on Friday.
