This is your nurse speaking: do nothing strenuous! If it seems like a good idea,it’s not. If you think it won’t affect your healing, it probably will. You absolutely deserve the solid support from your friends, and others like me who appreciate succinct and clever daily observations. Ffs, take care.
Brilliant! Maybe all the subscribers can write about their 4th form song and give Uncle Dave the real rest he needs to get better? Mate, take it easy...
For God’s sake man, pull yourself together. Quite apart from your family and friends there’s a wee army of us out here in MTAF-land who want nothing more than to see you well and happy, and typing. Hope you’ve had a good night and are once more on the mend.
I was going to say someone powerful putting pins in an effigy but that's a bit bleak. Think of climbing scree. One advances three feet, slide back two☺
You've got yourself a very good underscribe there David ! My first purchased 45 (early 60s)......Elvis Presley......'Good Luck Charm'......B side can't remember but it was consuming as well. The arm on the turntable pulled back, played again and again and again on the retro-legged 'radiogram'. Across from the 'Admiral' 23" cabinet TV (flashest piece of furniture in the house). Oh God the warm, comfort memories ! So you see, even in the infirmary Fielding gives a great read ! Wishing a good path of recovery there David.
Front Lawn were [was?] brilliant. However: while Uncle Dave is laid up & feeling poorly, he needs a dose or 3 of Harry & Don's freshest and latest collaboration. Like every detail in Kiri & Lou, their songs are tiny gems of fun and wisdom and beauty and hope.
Oh dear! This horrible rollercoaster is running on repeat. And, if you can't get your leg over a fence, I'm worried what else you might not be able to get your leg over......I'm thinking of an e-bike, of course. Hoping for a smooth and speedy recovery from here on in!
We're definitely going to put our collective foot down here David and say you must cancel those Russian folk dancing classes you booked for this coming winter. A third Easter is definitely in order, and that's an order. Please get well correctly soon.
ps Thanks to Paul Brimley for Tomorrow Night and a darn good yarn.
pps Late reading this MTAF due to early collapse bedwards last eve after 20hr adventurous Wednesday.

Can only endorse everyone's wishes and hopes for you.

You'll learn to listen to your body eventually, happy healing
