There is a thing I call the Subway rule. I use it to describe advertising that leaves you feeling like a fool, a dupe, a dipshit, a sucker.
I have been that fool, that dupe, that dipshit etc., because I have been lured inside a Subway shop by the aroma and alluring photography for a delicious OMG so delicious Subway sandwich.
